If a driver wishes to join hands with WeDrive the driver needs to register under the WeDrive app.
First step — Download the WeDrive app
Second step – Sign-up by giving the driver’s personal information such as the driver’s name, phone number, address, and vehicle details…
Third step – Once registration is complete, information accuracy will be checked and one of the WeDrive assessors will contact the driver over the phone for account activation within 48 -72 hours (This may involve a physical visit)
A driver can stay ONLINE after successful account activation.
When a rider requests a WeDrive ride, If a driver is within 5km of the rider’s location, the request alert will continue to ring in the driver app until a driver accepts or declines the ride. Before a driver accepts a ride, they can get ”Ride information”, such as distance to the rider’s pickup location, how long it will take to pick up the rider, and total payment.
Once a driver accepts a ride, the driver gets the rider’s pickup location. Both driver and rider can communicate (call and message) through the app.
When a driver arrives at the pickup location he has to touch on the “Arrived” icon in the app and once he does the rider will be notified. Once the rider has boarded the vehicle driver can touch on the ”Pick up” icon and the trip will be started. WeDrive app manual meter starts running from there.
